At IBC 2025, Easyrig unveiled the Vario 6, a lighter, smoother evolution of the Vario line. Early hands-on reports point to stepless, on‑the‑fly tension adjustment, reduced friction in the arm mechanism, and an updated vest/spine aimed at lowering fatigue over long shooting days. The Vario 6 supports camera loads in the ballpark of 4–14 kg (9–31 lb) and is designed to maintain modular compatibility with much of the Easyrig ecosystem.
